The seven Ivory Class guestrooms here are charming, each representing Zanzibari
traditions in a distinct way. All rooms are equipped with a large, bathtub (the
hotel claim that "a bubble bath and a bottle of wine are a frequent
request"), ceiling fans on the upper floor and second floor rooms, (some
rooms have air conditioning as an option) Sultan-sized rooms with 20 foot
ceilings, carved doors, original stucco décor and hand painted glass lamps and
window panes. All guestrooms have large Zanzibari beds complete with netting.

The Towertop Restaurant is located on the roof of the building, a wonderful way to end the day... as you watch the sun disappear into the Indian Ocean; hear the Muslim call to prayer accenting the eastern setting of Arabic-style pillows and small tables; the Hindu Temple chimes, or numerous other sights and sounds of an exotic nature reminding visitors that they are far away from home.
